Maximising Potential in Four Oaks
Our Clients were looking to extend and remodel their large four bed detached house to create a luxurious six bed home with features and facilities to suit modern aspirational family living.
All bedrooms were enlarged where possible and given dressing areas and En-suites with the Master Suite enjoying extensive his and hers dressing rooms and an outstanding en-suite.
The Roof Space which originally contained one small double bedroom was radically redesigned to provide two bedroom suites for the older children. Each of these generous rooms included a dressing room dedicated study area and En-suite. A further room for family storage was also added.
Kitchen extension with corner sliding glazed doors
An existing change in level was used to produce a large glazed gym enjoying views of the garden. A glass link provides access from the main house. An adjoining games room connects to the patio which extends in front of the kitchen.
The ground floor was remodelled creating an impressive open plan entrance hall with a new stairway leading to a galleried landing larger glazed doors to the kitchen let natural light flood into the hall. The clear sight lines created by the new design open up views from the door through the kitchen to the garden beyond.
The Clients wanted the kitchen to be the hub of the family home where, in good weather they could enjoy a seamless transition from the comfortable interior to the Garden. Large sliding glass doors to the walls maximised easy access and triple glazing ensured conzinees on colder days.
