Two storey extension

Rural Property, Brede

A double and single storey extension was added to this stand alone Rural home, creating an internal courtyard, encompassing the External Pool and re-instating a strong Focus for the Entrance to the Main house. which the addition of the external pool had lost.   

The ancillary accommodation  added an artists studio at first floor with balcony over-looking the courtyard.  Changing facilities and an extensive  games room was added so the main house could be reconfigured, for a large Kitchen/Family room, where a work shop and double garage was attached.  These additions completed the courtyard and was sympathetically linked to the main house by a fully glazed breakfast room

The family had outgrown the present living accommodation, and required changes for a modern family home.  The changes incorporated adding a separate Utility with integral garage, large open plan family kitchen to the ground floor, with integral garage. The first floor now accommodates master bedroom  facilities of en-suite and dressing area, along with a games room / guest bedroom to the top floor. with its own En-suite.
